TeeRadar ("we", "our", or "us") operates the TeeRadar mobile application. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information when you use our app.

Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

Location Data: With your permission, we access your device location to show nearby golf courses and calculate distances. This data is processed on-device and not stored on our servers.
Account Information: If you create an account, we collect your email address and any profile details you choose to provide.
Alert and Preference Data: We store the courses, days, time windows, player counts, price preferences, favorites, and alert settings you configure in the app.
Subscription Information: If you subscribe to TeeRadar Pro, we receive subscription status, entitlement, renewal, expiration, and product information from Apple and RevenueCat. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
Support and Request Information: If you contact support, request a course, or submit a form, we collect the information you provide so we can respond and track the request.
Usage, Device, and Attribution Data: We collect app usage, diagnostic, device, and advertising attribution data to improve the app, measure ad performance, and understand whether our ads are working.
Push Notification Tokens: If you enable notifications, we store your device push token to send tee time alerts.

Tracking and Advertising Attribution

TeeRadar uses the Meta/Facebook SDK to help measure ad performance, app installs, and app events. On iOS, where required, we ask for permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before enabling advertiser tracking or accessing the device advertising identifier. If you do not allow tracking, TeeRadar will still work, but ad measurement may be limited.

Third-Party Services

TeeRadar links to third-party booking platforms for tee time reservations. When you tap to book a tee time, you are redirected to the course's own booking engine. We do not process payments or booking transactions.

We use service providers to operate the app and related workflows, including Convex for backend storage, RevenueCat and Apple for subscriptions, Expo for push notifications, Resend for email delivery, HubSpot for support and customer workflows, and Meta/Facebook for advertising attribution and app event measurement. These providers process information according to their own privacy policies and our instructions where applicable.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored using reasonable technical and organizational safeguards. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the app, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security. You may request deletion of your account and associated data in the app or by contacting us.

Your Choices

You can manage location, notification, and tracking permissions in your device settings. You can also manage or cancel App Store subscriptions through your Apple account settings.

Children's Privacy

TeeRadar is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
